When we bought Dolly 1 —many moons ago— caravan makeovers just weren’t a thing (and neither was Pinterest, come to think of it!).
There was no information, readily available, on touring caravan refurbishment; and I had no idea how to paint caravan cupboards or what paint was suitable for caravan interiors.
Our first vintage caravan makeover was simply borne out of a desire to make an ugly little box on wheels more beautiful; to create a comfy, cosy little home from home, that we could go to festivals or camping in.
Since then — and particularly since Pinterest exploded — caravan renovation is a very hot topic.
